Igor Taranov has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration in Kazakhstan and Russia. He handled many cases as an in-house attorney while working for big Russian companies in retail, construction, and oil and gas sectors. He spent some time in an international law firm with offices in CIS and Europe and since 2014 he started practicing commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration as independent legal practioner.
Igor’s international arbitration work includes representing clients in proceedings under ICC and LCIA rules, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. In addition, he regularly advises financial institutions and corporate clients on complex multi-jurisdictional litigation, including insolvency matters.
